We are calling all singers to join us as we give praises to God and we bring our congregation into His presence through music.
If you believe God is calling you and you have a sincere heart and passion for worship please see one of our Music Ministry representatives, in the lobby, after service during the entire month of August. There is something for everyone: The Sanctuary Choir, The Male Chorus, The Women’s Chorus, The Youth Choir, and the Kingdom Kids Choir. The Music Ministry of First Baptist Church-Broad seeks to inspire, educate, encourage, and train those whom God has called into the music ministry. As one body unified in spirit, we desire to serve the Lord through the excellence of music. The Music Ministry of First Baptist Church-Broad is to be a viable and spiritual component in the vision, mission, and ministry of First Baptist Church-Broad. The music ministry will help provide an opportunity for individuals to explore their gifts and talents that God has given them. When rightly utilized, music can serve to energize the worship service, and break down barriers of both language and culture.
Music Ministry Opportunities
The Mass Choir
The Mass Choir of First Baptist Church-Broad is a group of singers who join together for
the purpose of giving glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Mass Choir encompasses a
breath of genres including spirituals, anthems, hymns, classical repertoire and Gospel. The Mass
Choir sings regularly for the 7:45 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship services on the 1st and 3rd
Sunday of each month.
Staff Leadership: Roderick Vester
Rehearsals: Every Wednesday: 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Rehearsal Location: Victory Center
Ages 19+ are welcome.
The Youth Choir
The Youth Choir of First Baptist Church-Broad is comprised of teenagers from all walks of
life who join together to learn the importance of teamwork, service and commitment in a fun
and energetic environment for singing. The Youth Choir ministers on the 4th Sunday of each
month for both worship services.
Staff Leadership: Teresa Wesson
Rehearsals: Every 3rd and 4th Wednesday
Rehearsal Location: Choir Room
Ages 14-19 are welcome.
The Voices of Judah
This anointed group of singers possess a heart of serving the Lord through powerful Praise
and Worship Music; to assist in life-altering worship experiences.

Rehearsal Location: Choir Room
Ages 17 and above are welcome.
The Male Chorus
This group is comprised of a group of male voices dedicated to serving the Lord through
song.
Staff Leadership: Sheila Taylor
Rehearsals: Every Wednesday before the 2nd Sunday: 6:00 p.m. -8:30 p.m.
Rehearsal Location: Victory Center
Ages 19 and above are welcome.
The Sacred Voices
This dynamic group of singers desires to serve the Lord through the excellence of music.
These singers provide Christ-centered and heart-felt worship through powerful music. This
ensemble seeks to help others deepen their faith and love for the Lord through music.

Ages 19 and above are welcome.

Kingdom Kids
The Kingdom Kids choir is comprised of singers ages 4-13 who represent First Baptist Church-Broad with pride. Kingdom Kids minister each 4th Sunday of the month for the 10:30 a.m.
worship service. This choir looks forward to adding more angels to the fold.

Ages 4-13 are welcome.
The Instrumental Ensemble
If you play an instrument, come join us! The Instrumental Ensemble accompanies each
Sunday morning service. At least 3 years of playing experience is preferred.

Rehearsals: Every Thursday at 6:00 p.m.
Rehearsal Location: Victory Center
